Web Design Pricing
Honest starting points, fixed quotes.
Published figures are genuine starting points, not bait. After a short discovery call you get a fixed price for a defined scope — so the number does not move once work begins.

E-commerce catalogs
Product loading, priced honestly.
Building the store is a fixed job. Loading products is not — it scales with how many you sell and how much data each one carries. So we separate the two rather than padding the base price for everyone.
Every product we load includes images, description, pricing, stock settings, categories, variants and SEO fields. If you would rather load them yourself, we train your team and the cost is zero.
Up to 50 products — included
Covered by the base e-commerce price. Enough for most launches and focused catalogs.
51 and beyond — $5 per product
We load each one properly rather than dumping raw data into the store.
Bulk import — $499 flat, any volume
If your data is already in a spreadsheet or feed, we map and import it in one job. Past roughly 100 extra products this is the cheaper route, and we will point that out rather than let you overpay.
Complex variants — quoted separately
Products with more than ten variants, or with configurable options, take real work. We price those honestly after seeing the catalog.
What moves the number
Why we cannot quote from a price list alone.
Two sites with the same page count can differ by hundreds. These are the factors that actually change the figure, and we walk through each one with you. You can model them yourself in our website cost calculator.
Scope and page count
More pages means more design, structure and testing — though the relationship is not linear, and a good template system helps.
Content readiness
If copy and images are ready, we move faster. If they need creating or restructuring, that is real work and it is priced honestly.
Integrations
CRMs, booking systems, payment providers and third-party tools each add configuration and testing time.
Design complexity
A bespoke visual language with custom illustration or motion costs more than a clean systematic build. Both are legitimate choices.
Timeline
A compressed deadline means reordering other commitments, and that is reflected in the quote rather than hidden.
Website care
Keep it fast, safe and current — $149 a month.
A website is not furniture. Plugins update, security moves, and small changes pile up. This keeps all of it handled without you thinking about it.
Website Care Plan
- Core, theme and plugin updates, tested on a staging copy first
- Daily offsite backups, restored on request
- Security monitoring and malware scanning
- Uptime monitoring with alerts
- Monthly performance check
- 30 minutes of content edits each month
- Monthly report in plain English
- Priority reply within one business day
Why it matters
Most hacked WordPress sites are not targeted — they are found by scanners looking for an outdated plugin. Updates are the single cheapest form of insurance.
What is not included
Hosting and domain renewals. You pay those directly to your provider so the accounts stay in your name and we add no markup.
Bigger sites
E-commerce stores and large sites need more attention than a brochure site. We quote those individually after a review rather than pretending one price fits everything.
No lock-in
Month to month. Cancel with 30 days notice and you keep everything — we hand over cleanly.
Ongoing services
SEO, advertising and growth.
These are scoped individually rather than sold as packages, because a sensible retainer depends entirely on your market and objectives. We quote a fixed monthly figure after an audit.
SEO
Monthly retainer scoped after a technical and competitive audit. Month to month — no long tie-in.
Google Ads
Fixed management fee, never a percentage of your spend. You pay Google directly and own the account.
Digital Growth
A combined program across site, search and paid, priced against an agreed quarterly roadmap.
Payment
How it works in practice.
Simple terms, agreed in writing before anything starts.
- A fixed quote is issued after discovery, with the scope written down
- Projects begin with a 50% deposit to reserve the schedule
- The balance is due at launch, once you have signed off
- Pay by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal or cryptocurrency
- Larger builds can be split into agreed milestone payments
- Care plans and retainers are billed monthly in advance
- Third-party costs are paid by you directly, with no markup from us
Questions
About cost and commitment.
If your question is not here, ask. We would rather have an awkward conversation early than a bad surprise later.
Why publish starting prices at all?
Could my project cost more than the starting price?
What counts as a product for the e-commerce limit?
What if I have more than 50 products?
Is the care plan required?
Do you offer payment plans?
What if I am not happy with the design?
Do you work with small budgets?
